• To provide a secure mine and campsite mitigating risk to people and property and reputation
• To control all firearms
• To carry out security risk assessments
• To conduct Investigations
• To maintain compliance with G4S policies and procedures and with local regulation
• To manage site logistics and site services.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITY:

·         Provide adequate security at the site a, mine and camp to adequately mitigate the risk of harm to people, loss or damage to assets and damage to reputation

·         Conduct penetration and other physical security exercises to test the robustness of the security measures in place

·         Design, control and file appropriate forms/ records & other documentation

·         Manage a team of security personnel

·         Firearms security, control, safety and maintenance

·         Risk Assessments

·         Investigations 

·         Compliance &  Support Services 

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: 

·         Relevant qualification 

·         Knowledge of security best practice for remote sites

·         Knowledge of support services operations

·         Knowledge of investigations

·         Knowledge of local law

·         Knowledge of company policies and procedures 

·         Military Service in a field position

·         Must have experience in a related position, working in a highly pressurized multi-national environment.

·         Swahili speaking will be advantageous

·         MS Office suite – 2007 and version thereafter, at an intermediate level

·         Communication (written and verbal)

·         Co-ordination of data compilation

·         Supporting and working with others

·         Delivering objectives

·         Minute taking skills
